Application Requirements
Tourist: (a) Valid passport. (b) Application form. (c) One passport photo. (d) Fee; payable by cheque or postal order. (e) Mediacl certificate stating that the applicant is free of any symptoms of infectious diseases. (f) Return ticket. (g) Proof of sufficient funds (eg bank statement); minimum US$50 per day of stay. (h) Affidavit signed at consular section by applicant, declaring that applicant has not, in the last 30 days, been to any SARS countries or zones and that they will not travel to them during the validity of the visa. (i) Proof of legal residence in country of residence. Business: (a)-(h) and, (i) Letter of introduction from employer. If visit does not respond to an invitation from company in Argentina, letter must include a paragraph specifying this fact. If visit follows an invitation received from company/person established or residing in Argentina, this application must be submitted by the applicant at the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones (DNM) in Argentina. Student: (a)-(e) and, (f) Two additional passport photos. (g) Letter from Argentine university confirming student admission and stating length of stay, legalised by the Ministry of Education. (h) Medical certificate, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate (if applicable) and Police Record Certificate, with translations into English, all legalised by the FCO and "Apostille". (i) Signed declaration that the applicant has no international criminal record.
Temporary Residence
Applicants for temporary residence, working holidays and long-stay business visits to Argentina should contact the Embassy or Consulate (see Passport/Visa Information).
Working Days Required
Three days. Applications can be processed in one working day for an additional £22 express service fee. Applications sent by mail may incur additional processing time.
