Fully equipped apartments kitchenette.Start your walk two blocks from the Plaza San Martin, at the start of calle Arroyo, a short street (and quite rare in Buenos Aires, for its curves). On the 800 block, a dozen art galleries are grouped together, forming one of the central areas of the Gallery Nights. The Mihanovich Tower, now Hotel Sofitel, is a prominent construction among the various beautiful Buenos Aires apartments buildings from the 1920s and 30s (of diverse styles, from academic eclecticism to modern rationalism). Somewhat hidden behind apartments buildings, its art-deco silhouette is reminiscent of Mayan design and was, in its time, the characteristic facade of the city of Buenos Aires, as the Kavanagh apartments and Comega would later become. A visit to the art galleries is recommended, to both classical art auction houses (to see art works from Argentina and Latin America as well as from Europe, bought by rich Argentines at the beginning of the 20th. century) and the more avant-garde exhibits, where today's artists display their work. The corner of Arroyo and Suipacha marks the Plaza Embajada de Israel, home to the Israeli Embassy until March 18, 1992 at 2:50 pm. A tree stands in remembrance of each of the fatal victims of the 1992 attack. The former building was an elegant, Academic-style house. This spot marks the beginning of Embassy Alley, which continues down Avenida Alvear and Avenida del Libertador, uniting a dozen of the nations with the longest record of diplomatic, commercial and cultural relations with the Republic of Argentina. With the exception of some appropriate modern architecture, almost all of the embassies were once mansions that belonged to the area's prominent families. Located half a block away down Calle Suipacha, the Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernandez Blanco was designed by architect Martin Noel for his own family residence. Noel was one of the creators of the neo-Colonial style, evoking Old and New World Hispanic architecture. For its large construction and decorated patios and gardens, it is one of the prettiest museums in the city. The collection of colonial silver and gigantic tortoiseshell combs, fashinable accessories for the ladies of Buenos Aires in the 1830s, deserves a look. The Museo Ferroviario (Railroad Museum) is located on the other side of Avenida del Libertador.
Day Bed w/trundle = trundle is a second bed with mattress which fits under the day bed.
